Valoris foundation scholarship - FUTURE SOCIAL WORKER
With this scholarship, the Foundation aims to encourage the social workers of tomorrow to ensure that the next generation of social workers will be attentive, empathetic and, above all, will be able to help the people of their community shine.

ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship, available in each of the 12 Prescott-Russell high schools as well as at the Eastern Ontario Education and Training Centre, is given to schools for deserving students who aspire to post secondary studies in the field of social work.

With this grant, we help students get from point A to point B without the financial worries that come with it.

ABOUT THIS GRANT
This grant aims to contribute to the transportation costs of young people from Prescott-Russell who are pursuing post-secondary studies in La Cité and who are registered in the Community Integration through Cooperative Education program.

This scholarship is awarded to a resilient youth 30 years of age or younger who has previously received services from Valoris and is enrolled in a college, university, or other educational degree program.

ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Philanthropy • Alumni sector of La Cité awards more than $400,000 in financial aid scholarships and excellence scholarships each year. Scholarship values range from $500 to $5,000 and the majority are awarded during the fall semester.

This scholarship encourages a passionate and dedicated youth, family or community member to make important changes for a better future.

ABOUT THIS BURSARY
This bursary is awarded in memory of Mr. Dwight Proudfoot, a proud and dedicated advocate for the most vulnerable in society. Mr. Proudfoot valued inclusion, perseverance and compassion. These core beliefs supported his belief that when children, youth, families and community members are given the opportunity to see beyond adversity, they are capable of great achievement.
